  1. MontMatre, late in the afternoon.  It is (was lol?) a bohemian area, lots of students and artists and what-not.  Tiny cafes with one or tables out front.  Street musicians, that sort of ****.

Get her drunk, and from this vantage point, the two of you can watch the lights come on all over paris,  Louvre, Eiffel, etc....

Not too drunk, though, you'll have to carry her down hill  lol lol lol

  2. Congrats! This places will set the mood!

  3. what section of Paris are you staying in.  My family spends 1 month in the summer in Paris and I will be happy to tell you where you can take goif I know where you are staying

  4. L'ambroisie -- place des Vosges in le Marais (so fabulous setting) and one of the best tables in France. Make a reservation! http://www.ambroisie-placedesvosges.com/

  5. The restaurant in the Hotel Lutetia (45 boul. Raspail) is fabulous and they have great jazz in the lounge.  The food is 1st class.  It's called "Le Paris Restaurant".  There is also a brasserie there - the decor is Belle Epoque/Art Deco and your wife WILL be impressed.  It's not touristy - and on the Left Bank (Rive Gauche) not far from the Muse D'Orsay.  Verrrrrry romantic!

It's a Concorde Hotel and it's pricey but worth every Euro!

P.S. "Lutecia Parisium" was the original name of the city of Paris when it was founded.
