i have 1 forward large carseat in the middle and 2 booster seats on either side - having difficulty latching the belt into the buckle, as the buckle of each shoulder/lap belt is behind the car seat. what can i use to bring the buckle up more, so it's easier to latch?

i have a '03 forester

  1. You can buy a seat belt extender at your local auto parts store or go online. Easy!

  2. Check with your dealer first because many times they are free of charge and you can also call the vehicles manufacturer as well.

  3. You can also go to the Subaru dealer and order one.  They usually come in three different lengths, depending how much longer you need it to be.

I would suggest this solution to your problem because you can be assured that they will fit the existing buckle and latch of your car to extend the distance needed.

    I hope this helps....

    Good luck
