Need a sleep so bad. Doctor has given me the over-the-counter "Syndol" drug. Any good?

Hello there,

                     There's no harm in trying those pills, they won't do you any harm. They contain paracetamol, codeine, an antihistamine and caffeine. Caffeine is a stimulant, so I do wonder whether they will help you sleep. They are usually given for tension headaches.  Good luck.

They do work.

Take the dosage your doctor advised or as instructed on the pack 30 mins before bed.

Then relax.

Try not to take these meds for too long though. Even though they are 'herbal' they can still cause dependency. I have been there I am afraid.
