We are the only college in Chicago to have a Students in Marketing Organization registered with the AMA and we have a convention in New Orleans coming up to represent our group but we just fund out we are short on funds and need to raise $250 each.

Anyone have any ideas about how to go about doing this??

  1. Raffle off vacations. I own a vacation business and can help you with this.

  2. Ask local business to donate free goods to raffle off, like movie tickets, t-shirts, a free night of bowling, etc.

When I was in high school we had a penny drive. Students brought in pennies from home and the homeroom teacher had to wrap them. As long as there was wrapping to be done, they didn't have class. Not all teachers chose to participate, though.

I took part in a bowl-a-thon once. You ask people to sponsor you either a set amount, or an amount for every pin you knock down.

  3. You're a marketing org, you should be able to come up with something.  Have a bikini carwash.
