Need a weather analysis/prediction in us?

okay so u see that huge strip of storms in the midwest? when is it going to hit chicago? weather.com says it's storming every hour, even now when its clear blue skies and it has been for the past 6 hours, so help?

Just because an area is forecasted for weather,  doesn't mean it is going to happen.   It means the threat of those conditions exist for that time period.

I live near Chicago, and believe me when I say this: weather changes unexpectedly all of the time. I'm sure you know that by know. Storms tend to lose energy to whatever before they strike a particular location.
