  1. There is no better way to make a great income then that type of business but not with QUIXTAR!!! Please Please Please do yourself a favor and explore the other options. I agree 100% with the first two answers. True they have been around for a very long time but that translates into market saturation. And do you really want to SELL products to your friends and family in this economy? The first thing people will stop buying are things they can do without. I retired at a very early age due to the success of a business I started from my home. I devote my time now to helping as many people I can do the same. I am always available to answer your questions and help you with other options.

  2. Quixtar changed their name from Amway. They had made a bad reputation for themselves to had to change names. They have good products but most people do not make money.

  3. Is it a legit business?  Yes.

Will you make any money at it?  No, probably not.

99.9% of all Quixtar reps end up losing money primarily because of the "tools" (CDs, tapes and seminars).  The "diamonds" make a vast majority of their money off of these tools but they don't want you to know that.  Unfortunately, if you don't buy the tools, your upline will ignore you.  You're damned if do or damned if you don't.

  4. I agree with the other posters.  I wouldn't get involved with Quixtar.  What do I think?  I think if you really want to make money in a business, then you need to get involved in a company where the product or service is in high demand.  Look into something where when money gets tight, they're not going to run to the nearest dollar store and buy a cheaper brand that does the same thing.  Get involved in a company where the demand has been and always will be in high demand.  Also when you look at a company with the way the economy changes and the new fads come in and out, will the product and/or services that the company provides will it move along with it.  I know so many people who once were into Quixtar, my little brother for one, and they didn't pay him what he was supposed to make.  Infact, they didn't even pay him one cent and he went way past what he needed.  Quixtar I don't think is the way to go.  You might make a few extra bucks, but with the way the economy is going, you need to look into a business that has products and a service that are in high demand, and the pay doesn't rely on you having to constantly sale and re sale over and over in order to make your money.  Find something that pays you over and over for work you did one time before.  That is a real residual income, not a residual income where you make money off of what someone else's has to keep selling.  You sale, or someone else sale's one time, and the industry pays you over and over for a lifetime of that customer.  What I think?  Telecommuniciatons would be the way to go.  Or the Travel industry, or something that people can't get going to a store and paying less for when money gets tight.

If you do decide on Quixtar, you need to learn how businesses are ran, how to build a Quixtar business and everything involved in business before starting.  It's going to be a lot harder then what they claim because the demand is really not there.  The products you can get just about anywhere and your never locked into a set amount from each customer.
