Need advice on a mountain bike?

I had my bike stolen last week and I'm shopping for a new one. I don't have a large budget at this point. I found a nice little bike in sale for only 219$ at a local store but I've never heard of the brand. It's an AMS Burley. It has a front suspension and brakes like a charm. I don't know much about bikes but I had a good feeling sitting and riding on it. Any opinion on this specific bike anyone??

I haven't heard of the 'AMS Burley' brand before, there is a 'Burley' that makes behind the bike trailers, etc...

Try www.craigslist.com and check out bicycles in your area - you'd be amazed at what people are selling and at the low prices.

first off, more importantly then the name brand or how well equipted the bike is. if it feels comfortable to you then that is a definate plus. bikes are so hard to find one that is right for you.

ive never heard of the brand either nor can i find it any where on the internet. the only thing i can find related to bikes is theres a company called burley that makes tandoms and tag alongs for behind your bike.

i dont really know how to help you other then the feel is the most important part you should be looking at.
