  1. Sounds like you need to check 'em out in person at the store.

Try posting in motorcycles for more answers.

  2. Maybe someone in the motorcycles section can help you.

  3. While it would be better to post on the motorcycle forum, I will offer this bit of advise.  Your insurance will sky high when you own a sport bike.  Until you are at least 21 and up to 25, rate will be up to $250 PER MONTH.

The mere fact you are looking for a fast bike means you will most likely end up in an accident and in a world of hurt.

I recently read story of a girl that purchased a new 600 cc sport bike.  She was a new rider, having just acquired a driver's license and the motorcycle endorsement.

15 MINUTES later while traveling in excess of 95 mph, she lost control (no skills) and crashed.  She was without a helmet and needed to be air lifted to a trauma center where she was in critical condition.

THAT IS WHY INSURANCE IS SO HIGH FOR YOUNG SPORT BIKE RIDERS!!!!!

That short helicopter ride probably cost between $1500 to $6000.  An who pays for those costs?  The rest of us insured riders.  Like me who has yet to submit an insurance claim.  I have been riding for decades.

You have at the most 2 years of driving experience.  Your skills are still developing.  Take some riding classes before heading on the road with a two wheeler.

  4. There is a Kawasaki Ninja either a 250cc or I believe a 590cc.  Both are comfortable and have enough get up and go for a sports bike.

Personally, I like the Yamaha R6.  Comfortable, very fast, pretty light, and the colors are really good.  And it is more affordable than say the Honda CBR's or the bigger Ninjas and GSXr's.
