Question:

Need advice pertaining to Gymnastics?

I am a male, 17, 5.9-5.10 inches at 210 pounds (should be 160-170 for healthy weight). I REALLY want to join the Gymnastics team in my area, but am a bit afraid.

I am on a strict Vegan diet with exercise which is helping me loose weight. I lost 48 pounds so far, and still going :)

My question/concern is will the gymnastics club take me, and work with my weight temporarily as I loose it. Or will this be a red flag for them and I shouldn't bother calling.

Please help me, will award best answer, I have a passion for gymnastics. I just want to be part of the sport, no real goals.

Oh..and I have some flexibility going for me :)

  1. Understand, that no gymnastis team willl just take you at first. first sign up for an adult gymnastics class/ go to open gym and build your skill level. Build muscle and get into shape.
