  1. Right - ignore the first answer, as it is totally wrong.  At the age of 16, you are limited to 50cc.  You can't ride a 125 until you are 17.

There are no 50cc dirt bikes with automatic transmission available.

If you want an auto, it will have to be a scooter.

If you want dirt bike, it will have to be a manual.

Buy either a Japanese or European made bike.  Steer clear of the Chinese, Malaysian and Taiwanese copies - they are not worth it, no matter how cheap.

  2. if your liveing in the uk and you do your cbt test you will be allowed to ride any bike up to 125cc.

I would strongly advice you not to get a 50cc model as they are to slow on modern roads and actualy put you in more danger as cars constantly cut you up and overtake you.

I would suggest a 125 wich can hold its own easily in normal urban traffic without blowing your head off with the power.

Also for gods sake dont get a scooter get a real geared motorbike and you will love it!

    Hope this helps.
