  1. Flamenco dress?

  2. does it matter?  jus wear  the clother u would normally wear.. u wont get any bad looks r ne thin..

  3. Pay attention to what shoes you wear and you will be less likely to be seen as a tourist. Spanish girls tend to wear nice shoes with heels. That can be a killer on old cobblestone streets though so be careful! Another good choice and more comfortable is just a plain black lace-up shoe that you can wear with trousers or jeans. If you wear white tennis shoes everyone will know you are a tourist! (They may well know anyway...I think it's mannerisms more than clothing that marks people as tourists.)

  4. You won´t have to worry about your clothes; here, young people, and not so young, wear jeans with Tshirts or sweaters. In November it´s supposed to be cold in Spain, though today it´s Oct 31st and in Granada it´s 30º Celsius (in the 80s F). We dress up for weddings, or when we are dinig out to a nice restaurant; but you must know that we, Spaniards, go to nice restaurants just for celebrations, as our variety of "tapas" is incredibly long ("tapas" are hot/cold snacks which you have with your drink; in most parts of Spain you pay a small amout of money for them, but in my city, Granada, "tapas" are given for free with your beer or even with soft drinks). To sum up: we go out a lot, but we usually go for "tapas" to different bars. A tip: go into the one you see more crowded; that´s because tapas are better!!

So, wear your comfortable clothes and shoes, which will be ok, but, as somebody has said above, everybody will know you are a tourist: we do just recognise tourists at first sight!! (I guess that happens everywhere in the world)

  5. Go naked

  6. As far as you are not being able of hiding your condition of tourist, dress comfortable, We are already used to tourist. Take care with the weather, in November depending on where are you going in Spain you can expect everithing from -2 Cº up to 30 Cº, from storms and snow to sunny days. Make a consult of the medium temperature in November of the places you want to visit.

If you want to  dress elegant do it as you consider in your country, the difference will not be so high.

  7. Actually wearing what you normally wear is appropriate. There is no traditional or "one-fashion" way to dress in Spain. Jeans would blend in very well actually. Everyone will know that you are a tourist anyway. They just know. Dress clean and casual and that will work just fine. I have lived in Europe (Prague) for years and the thing about Europe is that everyone knows a tourist when they see one. The body language is different than locals. It's not a bad thing at all. The only bad thing is if you run around in shorts and a f***y-pack. I hope your trip is a good one.

  8. Depends on what part of Spain you are going to !

  9. I was in Spain this past July. The number one rule if you don't want to be marked as a tourist....DO NOT WEAR SHORTS OF ANY KIND.....no f***y packs or cameras around your neck.

We were a group of four women, and pretty much stuck to nice, casual skirts and tops. If you are going to visit any cathedrals, you may need something to cover your arms. Of course, in November the weather will be cooler. We noticed many locals wore jeans, but they were very stylish and neat, not torn, and God forbid, no soccer mom jeans, with the tapered legs.

People in Spain are incredibly stylish, and impeccably dressed for the most part, especially in the evenings, where they go all out to look nice for dinner and dancing. Have a great trip!
