hi everybody

can anybody could guide me about this: the thing is that from day 9 after my period I have been used an OPK(for the first time) and now is day 18 and still negative test.I don't know what to think for about 4 or even 5 days now I've been aching (cramps like before period, pain in my ovaries yesterday). from the day when I was starting having those pains I was sure that I will be ovulating soon but still got negative tests .are they actually work or is something wrong with my body what do you think? (my cycles are between 33-37 days)

if somebody know more then me and can help me please give me a sensible answer many thanks.

need more details ask me and I will be happy to tell

  1. I have been trying the opk test and it is not working for me I had all the symptoms of it but they were still neg and why in the world would they put to lines on there to confuse you like that anyways maybe you missed your surge if you didn't test twice a day that's what I was told but really I just didn't think that some test work on the ones who LH is very sensitive good luck! oh and by the way I don't think there is anything wrong with you I just think it is the test

  2. If your cycle can last up to 37 days it is likely you wouldn't ovulate until until CD 22 or so. Also, not everyone can get a positive on OPK. Keep baby dancing every other day through CD 24 to cover all bases.

  3. since your cycles are betweeen 33-37 i would guess you should get the opk results probably within the next few days. i was around day 16-17 and had 28-32 cycles. make sure you do first morning urine too i think that does make a difference i tried a few different times. if you follow directions you will be fine try and relax. how long have you been tcc? also on the opk when you start to see the lines close and cant figure out if one is brighter or what start having s*x then in the next few days you will see it go to brighter or just the important line :) good luck
