Need an OC Beachside Restaurant with Private Function Room?

Looking for a private room that holds either 30 or 60 people restaurant-seating-style which very close to the beach, perferably with view. I'm planning on a simple wedding which just needs to be held in the private dining area of a restaurant. Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Balboa Peninsula, Dana Point, Monarch Beach, or any areas surrounding would be great.

  1. Villa Nova has an upstairs area that is available for reserving for that number of people - it's in Newport Beach on the water with a view - Italian Food

I'm not sure if Billy's or Rusty Pelican on PCH in Newport have a private room, but they very well might - I would call both of them - good food!

Parker's Lighthouse in Long Beach is a nice seafood restaurant that has an upstairs area -you'd want to go look at it first though.

McKenna's on the Bay is in the Long Beach Marina and it's steak and seafood and I believe they have a private room.

The Harborside Pavillion in Balboa is really nice and you can reserve for a certain amount of people and if you have more than 50, you can reserve the upstairs for $500- it's really nice and right on the water - you can also have your ceremony here...

I think any of those places would work - but you should definitely go look to see what the feel of each place is to see what would fit your reception/wedding plans

  2. the beach comber possibly/ mastro's ocean club

  3. in Dana Point:

The Chart House sits up on the bluffs overlooking the harbor.  Great views.  http://www.chart-house.com/

The Beach House is on the island in the harbor, and I think is supposed to be pretty reasonable for private events.

The Wind and Sea is at Dana harbor as well.
