okay here is my starting roster (rate it please)..

QB=bulger

WR=Andre Johnson

WR= Holt

RB= Addai

RB= Barber

WR/RB= Jacobs

TE= heap

bench= Boss / Lee evans / Lamont Jordan / Eli Manning

okay this is actually a 12team expert league for money. i made couple of great trades to get this lineup. now, i wanna improve on my WR/RB position.

im thinking of packaging Lee Evans and Jacobs for a good RB. do you think anyone would give a top RB for them? which RB do you think i should get in return for Evans and Jacobs?

what changes do you think i should make?

oh... and i left out the Kicker and Defense positions cause they dont really matter since i can pick up a new one every week.

  1. First off, I wouldn't trade Jacobs because he's the #1 back in NYC. You'd be better off trading Barber because the Dallas coaches love Felix Jones (who will be better than the overrated Darren McFadden) and he will wind up taking more touches away from Barber than Julius Jones did last year.

    You could have problems at WR if Johnson isn't recovered from the knee surgery he had in May and Bulger can't connect with Holt. Your TE has injury issues, as well.

    If you've made trades to improve your team I would hated to have seen it beforehand. I hope you've spent money you can afford to lose on this league because you could be in for a long season.

  2. I don't agree that K and Def don't matter, but I do think that you can play match ups easier for those positions. Keep an eye out for trends in those positions, last few years Gould and Folk came out of nowhere to be top performers. MIN was similar last year as an under-rated team that put up good numbers.

    Now that I'm off that tangent.......

    Solid team, rate about a 7 right now.

    Bulger could come back and have a great year, there are still questions on OLine as Pace is not been 100% cleared yet. If he does have a great year, then the combo of Bulger/Holt should work well for you.

    Addai - Barber and Andre are an awesome core.

    Evans is a 2cd half wonder but with the development of their QB and the addition of Hardy on the other side, he will hopefully be more consistant this year. I would keep both Jacobs and Evans at this point and drop Jordan since he is in a huge limbo status right now and try to pick up Bradshaw to handcuff Jacobs or pick up Felix Jones since he may also contribute not only in split carries with Barber but also on special teams.

  3. Better start thinking differently. You have a solid team now, but you will still have to constantly upgrade. And it is best to have 2 def's and k's for better matchup choices. Money leagues are no more fun than freebies, it's the guys you compete against.

  4. A fool and his money are soon parted.

    1) You have no business playing FF for money if you think the K and Def can be picked up each week.

    2) Bulger and Eli are your QBs, really?

    3) You traded to get this lineup? What did you start with? I bet that was a better team.

    If you are in a lowest-score league, then you have a great team.

  5. fck a holt hes only wr he will gt doubled

    qb switch em plzzz

    lokk for ryan grant for yur bench

  6. Jacobs is a raw RB. he is a big guy and his hard to bring down so he should get some yardage. he sould also get the goalline carries wich means more tds. i say he gets around 1200 yards w/ 8-10tds if he stays healthy.Don't trade him.
