I am not going to write your report for you, but you might consider what urban people already do for wildlife (besides donate billions of dollars to enviro groups!)

Raccoons, skunks, mice, rats and birds are all wildlife that have found urban living a boon! Coyotes, foxes, and weasels also do well inside city limits. Squirrels and possums need nut and fruit trees and urban people plant lots of trees even in the desert. Moles, shrews, deer and prairie dogs really appreciate lawns, gardens, and small orchards. In many cases the largest concentrations of these animals are in urban and suburban areas - especially in desert areas.

The urban environment includes a lot of trash cans, small pets, carefully cultivated trees and non-native plants, and gun bans all creating a good environment many species of wildlife.
