Need an idea of EE (DSP/embedded systems) payscale in Canada (waterloo).. Experience=5years.?

Hi, I am an Electronics Engineer with 5years of experience. I just got a job with a high tech company (working on DSPs and embedded systems) in Canada (Waterloo). However I have yet to discuss the salary with them. Can anyone please provide with a rough (realistic) estimate of money that I should be expecting/asking-for?? Moreover, what is the percentage of salary that is usually paid for the taxes etc.
