Need answer before Sat May 17th.?

Question

Having dinner party need to know order to serve appetizer, soup & salad and pasta dish then main course. Should I eliminate the salad

I wouldnt eliminate the salad!!!  Salads are always a nice way to start the meal!!  Perhaps you change the appetizer part of your meal and serve it as hors d'hovers instead...have it out while people arrive...and then maybe start the meal with soup and salad and move onto the main course!!  I would definitly serve things in the order that you have them!

I'd keep the salad but eliminate the soup and maybe have the pasta as the main course. Otherwise it sounds like a bit too much food.

appetizer - salad - pasta course - main dish .....You don't need to serve a soup too, and it might actually be too warm now for a soup course.  You COULD also serve the salad AFTER the main dish (they do that alot in Europe) .....

The order you have them in is fine. Don't eliminate the salad it goes well with pasta, but you could eliminate the soup.

Or

Give them a choice of either soup or salad.
