  1. it all depends on the coach and team but since you dont do long distance runnin for vball, theres big chances youll ahev to jog around like 5 laps whcih isnt hard even for those who havent gone through conditioning

  2. chances are you will probably run a mile.  when i tried out, that's what we had to do, but as long as you are under 9 minutes or so (which is doable even if you stop to fast walk for a lil bit), you will be fine!  i think part of it is to just check that you are fit enough to withstand physical activity and heat - so you don't collapse in games and whatnot - kind of a liability.  but just do your best and it will help that the other girls/boys are running at the same time - you will try to keep up and that will motivate you.  you can do it!!  good luck!

  3. yes you will have to run and usually it's only a mile

if you have aa time limit like 10 minutes then just jog most of the mile then sprint the end to make good time !!! it works for me

also eat a bagel and peanut butter for good energy!!!

  4. i just had my tryouts last week and i made the team!

    I can help

for my club tryouts we jogged 2 warm up.

all they want 2 see is your skills. in vball you don't do long distance running.

i would guess 2-4 laps around the court

    good luck!!

  5. "tryouts" means they go easy on u, and if u like it stick with it, it will get harder, but by that time u will adapt and run better

  6. honestly, i have tryouts tomorrow 2. running does place an effect on if u make the team or not..but your skill matters most. in time u will get used to the running, but for now just focus and show them your skill
