Need anti-virus/anti-spyware for smartphone, preferably freeware.?

My husband just got an HTC 6800 "Smartphone" so he can access the web. Does anyone know of a good anti-virus/anti-spyware program for mobile devices ? Freeware would be good.

The HTC 6800 uses the Windows Mobile 6.0 operating system. There are no free anti-virus programs for it. As a matter of fact, there are no real viruses for it, either - just a couple of proof-of-concept ones that barely work and have absolutely no chance of surviving in the wild.

So, at least for now, buying an anti-virus program for this device is a waste of money, although most of the big AV produces will happily sell you one.
