Elizabeth "Betty" Jenkins was born September 1828 in Wayne County, Tennessee; she died in 1910 in Archey Valley Township, Van Buren, Arkansas.  1880 US Census records indicate that both her parents were born in North Carolina.

Betty married Allen Tucker, who was born in 1816 in Wayne County, Tennessee, and who died in 1912 in Van Buren County, Arkansas.  1880 US Census records indicate that both his parents were born in North Carolina as well.

An entry from One World Tree lists all of the Tucker children as Arkansas natives:

The 1870 and 1880 US Censuses record that the Tuckers as living in Calf Creek, Searcy, Arkansas.  The 1900 Census lists Betty as living with her son-and-law, Nathan Slay (38) and daughter, Calvenia I (31) also in Calf Creek, Searcy, Arkansas.
