Need audio drive for my new desktop pc.

Question

model of my pc is compaq presario sg 3450il pc.when i had purchased the system there was windows vista loded on the system for a period of 30days my system audio sound was there through the hpw1707 monitor. but now iam having windows xp and no audio driver i have tried to install is giving audio output, sound is not beeng heard from the monitor
