  1. There is a book called "Parenting is not for cowards" by Dr. James Dobson

  2. Is this your child or is this children in your classroom?

I often fall back on Love and Logic.  You can search it online and get some tips off their website.

Not sure what you mean by book and activity for behavioral issues.  Are you looking for a technique to help with a specific issue?

  3. I hear this question a lot.  It is a bit loaded but it shows me that you are trying to figure something out. When I went through school we studied many different types of schemes for what you describe as "behavioral issues" My suggestion is that there really int a book that will answer this in total.  The good news is that your relationship is the Rosetta stone for bringing these schemes into practice. Always put the importance on the individual and the relationship.  I always refer parents to the NAEYC website as a resource for almost anything in the area of child development.  It sound to me that you are in need of some "guidance" tools. Look up a author named GUIDANCE MATTERS BY DAN GARTRELL.  Dan is amazing and has real world experience in this area as a teacher.  Browse all of the resources on NAEYC and read Dans articles.

  4. This is the type of question to ask your child's teacher or the director of the school. Check out books on line or at the library. It all depends on exactly what behavior issue you are in need of learning about or if the child is yours or in your classroom.
