  1. EBAY

  2. Good luck on your engagement! Here's some nice rings I found for you, and they're all under $350.00 :)

  3. i'm gonna guess that if you only have $350 to spend, your gf isn't expecting much and would be happy with whatever you pick out.

however, as a gal who got a $120 engagement ring the first time (same hubby, he's just bought me a lot of rings over the last 9 years)....i wish i would have shopped around and really found something unique or asked to make payments on something worth while. as, unfortunately, we live in a material world and a lot of women will judge the ring as a symbol of the value the hubby puts on his wife....so, don't buy something ugly and 'big', don't buy a anniversary band or one of those rings with a cluster of diamonds instead of 1 big one...tacky....get a look at Overstock.com and read the reviews....they will hint toward what it "really" looks like...do look at some pawn shops, but don't let the doe doe behind the counter sucker you. don't try to get away with a really pretty ring with a different gem other than a diamond cuz than it just becomes a 'promise' ring....craigslist is a good idea...a lot of good jewelry people just want cash for and you can haggle.

    good luck.

  4. Buy online. Jewelry stores markup 300%. Jewelry is jewelry wherever you get it. My 10k white gold ring I bought off the internet isn't any LESS of a 10k white gold ring just because I didn't buy it in a fancy jewelry store.

  5. check out a pawn shop, or do a lay away plan, putting some money on the ring every week or so, take a little more time, but get a better ring.

  6. go to a pawd shop my bro just bought his baby momma a 1400 dollar ring for 600..or you could try bidz.com dont listen to girls on here that say that 350 too cheap cuz its not about the size of the ring...

    gud luck!!

    and congrats!

  7. Wal-Mart rings actually aren't that bad, I wouldn't sign them off just yet.

You might want to look into going the promise ring route for an engagement ring.

They're pretty much the same thing, as far as appearances go (somewhat smaller than a typical engagement ring), and they're a lot more affordable. Here's some from Zales:

  8. Wait and save up more money. According to the site below, the average engagement ring in the US is about $3500.

  9. check overstock.com.... They have a lot of nice rings for inexpensive.  Shipping is real cheap too.  Also check out the gemstones too.  Not all women like diamonds. I would actually prefer my birthstone in a nice setting.  Those tend to be a lot less than diamonds.  Good luck and congratulations!

  10. Check at different pawnshops. However, you shouldn't be worried about the ring, it is a symbol of your commitment, not a symbol of how much money you have in your wallet.

  11. I agree that walmart ones are not the best.  Can you finance one?  If not, there are not many options in that price range.  Maybe get her a solid band for now (kind of like a wedding ring) and get her a diamond ring later.

I totally disagree with the people saying you are not ready if that is all the money you have.  My husband and I were dirt broke when we got married, we both lived with our parents before we tied the knot, he was just joining the Navy and we were fine!  We learned a lot of things together and are so much stronger now.  Love is not about money.  If you can keep your heads above water then it does not matter.  $350 is probably the only EXTRA money he has.  Most people live paycheck to paycheck so people need to stop hating.

  12. I was actually going to recommend walMart.

They do have rings in your price range.

Otherwise, try saving some money and get her something better. You could also try a pawn shop or a non-diamond.

  13. Ok well my guy friend had the same problem. He got a loan for a ring. However you may not be able to do that. ever thought about buying a CZ ring. looks real and can be very beutiful. than you can save and than buy her the real thing. My best friend has a CZ ring and loves it. here is one that looks like my best friends   http://www.modishjewelry.com/jewelscart2...

  14. if all you can afford is $350 maybe you're not ready for marriage

  15. go to pawn shops and stuff they have very pretty rings ..I got my wedding band and engagement ring as a set for 400.00 and I love it and it a good size

  16. Just 350$ for a Ring??? Lmao!  Good Luck with her accepting that ring :/

pshh .. I'm sure her Minimum Price of a wanted ring is 1,000 $ ***MINIMUM***

  17. Save your money and get one that suits your needs. If you can not learn to save, then maybe marriage is not the thing right now.

  18. Most of you people are rude and ignorant.

The guy only has 350 dollars give him a break.

And most of you women are materialistic.

The cost of a ring shouldn't matter.

What should matter is it comes from the heart.

  19. walmart rings arent THAT bad and its not like its the ring that matters anyway!

  20. Send me the money and her ring size, along with your mailing address and I'll send you a ring. Plus it'll be worth every penny you spend on it.

  21. Give her engagement ring which you can afford and put priceless heart into that ring. That's the most expensive ring in this whole wide world.

You have a man of such a good heart ! :)

  22. Do what most people said on here- go to a pawn shop. When my husband and I were dating he didn't have a lot of money, but I showed him this beautiful princess cut ring I loved at the local pawn shop and the next week he proposed with it :) It only cost 360. dollars and it's lasted a long time so far. Good luck!

  23. Consider cubic zirconia rather than diamond.  It looks good, and is much less expensive.

  24. If you only have $350 for an engagement ring, I'm wondering whether you are ready to be getting married at all yet..financially that is.  Have you truly thought out your financial situation?  Unless she's dirt rich, then all power to ya!

  25. go on craigslist or a pawn shop or a jewelry store
