Need cheap dc linear actuators that can lift between 50-100 lbs!!?

Sorry to forget to add-

Could you include a link so I can buy one? Oh, and the actuator must be no longer than a foot.

  1. Well, not sure of your size/weight requirements of the device itself, or rate of movement required, or indeed what you mean by "Cheap".  

    But here is a suggestion:  I saw in a Harbor Freight store the other day a 12VDC powered car jack.  Was kind of a scissors jack arrangement I believe.  It in essence was configured as a very powerful yet inexpensive linear actuator, that could be reversed when need be and lift a large load.  You might want to check and see if they show them on their web site.  Search on Harbor Freight Tools.
