ok this is the q i need help with...

Consider the following solutions:

i. 6M hydrochloric acid

ii. 0.1M carbonic acid

iii.0.1M nitric acid

iv. 6M ethanoic acid

identify which solution represents:

a) a dilute strong acid

b) a concentrated strong acid

c) a dilute weak acid

d) a concentrated weak acid

PLEASE PLEASE helpp, and can u please tell me HOW you worked it out?

  1. strong acid-disassociates easily

    weak acid- does not disassociate easily

    work out by principle of weak strong, and conc. and dilute( the mols)

    a) a dilute strong acid              iii.0.1M nitric acid

    b) a concentrated strong acid  i. 6M hydrochloric acid

    c) a dilute weak acid               ii. 0.1M carbonic acid

    d) a concentrated weak acid   iv. 6M ethanoic acid
