  1. i dont think it does. if you read the leaflet that comes with the pills it will tell you the POssibiLITES that could happen when taking it. even the ones that have like a 1% chance of happening :0)

  2. It hasn't for me and I've been on it for over a year.

  3. It can be beneficial over long periods of time but it hasn't been scientifically proven to do so.

  4. It depends on what pill you are going on but i never found that to be the case when i was on Microgynon

  5. No but i tell you one thing it will do to you and that's making you the moodiest person going in your street area.Trust me i'm like it and i hate it.

Why can't men go on the pill instead of women takes the p**s.lol

  6. some contraceptives do, it really depends on the kind your doctor subscribes you and on the reason for excess hair (if it is due to your ovaries, which is usually the case, then there are contraceptives which can help).

  7. I am afraid is has no tendancy to reduce hirsutism.

  8. No, the oestrogen doesn't make a  difference to hair. It is the progestrogen that can help, but only if it isn't an androgenic progestrogen. Desogestrel is a good one, which is found in Marvelon, Mercilon and Cerazette (pop) and Yasmin has another progestogen which can help.

So, ask for a low dose pill with an anti-androgenic progestogen.
