Need contacts help. please?

in your opinion what age is old enough to wear contacts?? in ur eyes

ive seen kids as young as 5(no joke) have them. i think thats too young. BUT if u think u r ready for contacts and the responsibilty that comes along with it, any age is fine. U just have to make sure u understand that u absolutely cannot overextend the lenses, do not sleep/shower/swim in them. there are alot of things u gotta know, ur optometrist will of course tell u these things. and u have to clean them and such. i feel any age is fine as long as u understand that they r a serious thing and if u misuse them it can harm ur eyes.

I guess any age is suitable. As long as you can take them on and off and and know the importance of hygiene. Like washing your hands properly when putting them on and taking them off. I guess id you are young and can't do that for yourself a guardian can do it for you? So yeah there isn't any minimum age anyways.

Its more of a responsibility thing? =)
