Hi,         I have a '68 Impala, the convertible top was working fine until recently, now it goes up about 3", and stops. Hitting the switch again makes a 'click' sound, and no further movement occurs. I looked in the back, didn't see anything obvious (the fluid level still seems full). I took it to a Chevy dealer, who said I need a new pump, pistons, and lines (i.e. everything), but they can't get them (I'm located in a small midwestern town called Chicago).         Anyone have any leads on 1) someone near me who could actually fix my car 2) who may have parts for the convertible mechanism (I have a Paddock Impala catalog somewhere, but when they charge $49 for an ashtray, I'm leery of buying anything bigger if it's available somewhere else!).                                         Craig  in Naperville, Illinois And I still have a '68 hardtop Impala for sale - $3200 - stens @mcs.com
