  1. I played corner my until career until this year, my senior year. Since I've gone through the same thing i can say that speed and agility aren't much of an advantage unless you have good reaction. Work on your reads against the o-line so you can react better and beat them with your speed advantage.

  2. Don't listen to lorenzo. Most defensive ends now r not big and strong like they used to be. They r quick and fast. Wat u can do instead of bullrushing the tackle u can come at him hard and spin off of him. Anither thing u can do is the swim move. Ask ur coach about it (cuz its better to show than tell) but it is basically taking ur arm swingin over his head. As some1 who plays o-line and d-line Its hard to defend the swim move and u almost always get by the blocker. Hope I helped

  3. You are probably alot quicker than every one and that is what you need to be an end. look up some videos on you tube of Elvis Dumervil he is small but he is quick and never gives up on the play.

    Good Luck

  4. well if you cant be changed maybe try bein a olb

but maybe just quit the team if he wont change you you gotta be strong and fast so maybe cb would be better

  5. Their is nothing you can really do with speed on the Defensive Line. You need to do push ups and lift weights. Do exercises that gives u upper body strength. Once you get the strenth then u are set to be one of the best. But in order to be good you have to get pass the O-line and in order to get pass them you have to have strenghth. Once u get strenght you can use your speed to take down the QB and punish those RB.

  6. An undersized DE has the advantage of speed and quickness. Michael Strahan was considered too small for that position and all he did was win the Super Bowl, set the sack record, and get himself a shot at the Hall of Fame.

  7. Like the person above me said you got to anticipate when the snap is.  You will get the upper hand.  Some people underrate how effective speed is on the Dline especially on the outside.  Look at dwight freeney.  Hes 6-1 aint that big but he uses that speed against his opponents.  Watch how small d-ends in the NFL play.  They are all fast and quick and have a signature move the use. Freeney uses his spin move to get around lineman which is what i used  when i played football last year.  You also have momentum go for you on Dline and pretty much can do whatever you want.  Just get low and and get under the tackle and try to move past him.  Dont try to fight with him cause 80 percent of the time you will probably lose.  If that doesnt work out for you, just be sharp and be aware of where the ball is so you know whether its a pass or a run cause the worst thing is if that RB continually gets behind you every play your coach will get on your *** like he did to me

  8. dont go at the o line head on try to aviod the o linemen by using your quickness to fake them out and get past them to get a sack

  9. You have to learn to anticipate the snap and once you do you get off the line like a jet and go around the T and get to the qb or rb

But once you've mastered the snap count you could really use your speed to your advantage you just have to be lightning quick once that football is snapped
