Need domestic violence or homeless shelters.?

Question

I'm looking for names and possibly contact info of agencies, organizations, churches etc. that provide assistance, advocacy or shelter for domestic violence, child abuse and homelessness.

Location isn't a big deal.. I'm compiling a resource, but I would prefer to have the smaller not usually widely known places.

Please check with United Way since they provide funding for other charities, it is a good source to begin with.  I realize that United Way is in just about all communities, it will be a huge endeavor to take on.  I wil give you the link to our local one here in Charleston SC
