  1. lol sad

  2. There is a line of products called "Seventh Generation" which I love.  You won't find much of a selection at grocery stores or targets but Drugstore.com sells most of their products and shipping is FREE! Products include dish and clothes washing items as well as household cleaners and even paper goods. Priced reasonably.

  3. You know what is your problem? You actually believe that if a company says "eco friendly" it is actually "ecologically friendly".  Look at the simple equation my simplicchio friend: even if you do all your dandiest to reduce that awful thing called your carbon footprint, the mere fact that you are a US consumer- who likes her styling gels, mousse, detergents, soaps, toothpastes, KY Jellies, antiperspirants, shaving creams, condoms, hair colorings, nail polish, room deodorizer, maxi pads, tampons, eyeliner, suntan lotions, hairspray, soda (in cans and bottles), fast food (in wrappers), her nifty, sporty car, her drives to the Mall and, like, stuff like that, her, drive 20 miles to pick up, like, Pop Tarts, her nice flat screen TV, her LCD monitor and new computer, her nice entertainment system, iPod, iPhone, Wii, her 1000 Watt hairdryer, her microwave oven, her dishwasher, her Frigidaire, her trips to CanCun and Myrtle Beach, her 800 minute phone convos to like, the other side of the continent, her subscription to like "all access", "interactive", and "on demand" movies on DirecTV, her awesomely decked out room with specially made wallpaper, her ginormous rug and neon pink slippers made of polyester, her awesome Jet-Ski, --makes your feeble effort to "go green" look like putting a tiny bandage on a gash that is spewing blood right after a limb has been torn asunder. Yeah, I'll buy that corporate "eco friendly" bull too, when I have a lobotomy.

  4. pack up your clothes and dishes, drive to the beach and use the sand and ocean water.  Works great then hang them out on a fence.

  5. try sand paper

  6. Try Veriuni All Naural Dishwashing Gelt and Laundry Detergent/Softener. The work great, and are not expensive.

I order mine through my housekeeping service, I am sure there are other distributors, but you can get them here I know.

  7. Have you tried eco-balls? I haven't tried them but a friend of mine got some and said they were good. You use them in your washing machine instead of detergent and they last for ages.

  8. Charlie soap is cheap and they have free shipping. Go to Charliesoap.com and you can see the studies a third party has conducted. From memory, I think it is 80% biodegradable in 28 days. You only need to use a tablespoon for a full load of laundry.

  9. I second Kelsey P, Zum rocks!

  10. Zum clean

I am a HUGE fan of zum, and zum clean is awsome smelling, working, and great for the envirment. It doesn't have a bunch of un-pronouce-able chems either. I really hope you give it a try. I promise you won't be let down!

  11. Gummamela and water mixed with vinegar is a very good dishwashing liquid. But, your dishes won't smell as good. Try adding some flower essence :)
