Need english version of COOLPIX l18/L16 to down load in my camera?

My camera isin the Japanese version of menu,i need english version to understand my menu

The English version is already in the camera. Just look for the icon that looks like a flag it would be in there.

There's probably an English version in the Language settings of your camera. Look for this character - 設定　which means settings, then look for 言葉　or anything ending with the character  ÃƒÂ¨Ã‚ªÂžÃ£Â€Â€which indicates language. Then choose 英語 which means English.

Do you see the empty field with an OK button at the very top? Copy-paste this address then click OK: http://marimorimo.pbwiki.com/yahoo

This will display the characters graphically. (Take note to remove the "...." after /yahoo --- they're unnecessary and I don't how to remove them)

However, some models initially released in Japan only have the Japanese language setting, so if you don't see the English option, I'm afraid I can't help you much. Try looking at the maker's website if they have an English firmware for your camera.
