Question:

Need exercise advice??

I need to get a workout going. No, I can't do yoga, push ups or anything else that you can do on the floor. I have back problems and can't get down on the floor nor can I get back up.

Walking-walking is out for the time being. I have medical issues that are preventing me from taking up walking as a form of excerise at the time being. It's fine for me to walk around a store, or to my car and such, but to take it up as a form of excerise I have been told not too.

Bike riding-I can't do that either. I live in a tiny 2nd story apartment. I do not own a bike. I have no where to store a bike. I do not know of anyone who owns a bike I can borrow. I am not going to do anything that involves a bike right now.

I can not afford to, nor am I willing to join any weight loss website where I have to pay. Do not suggest I join a website where I have to pay anything, even if it is a free trial. I will not take your advice if you suggest somthing like that. If you suggest 100% free websites, I will look into.

I do not have a whole lot of money. I am working at a crappy dead end job that barely pays my bills. I can not afford to join a health club. I would join the YMCA, but the nearest Y to me is a good 30-40 minute drive. One way. I can not afford the gas to drive 60-80 minutes a day.

Swimming is out of the question. I do not have access to a swimming pool.

I am willing though to try out workout videos, low impact work out suggestions and can afford a set of toneing bands, dumbells and a fitness video or two. Any good suggestions?

  1. I suggest you buy yourself a gymball (also known as a swiss ball) and a set of dumbells, there are many exercises you can do with these two pieces of equipment and you don't even need to leave your own home.

    Search google or youtube for videos on which exercises to do on a swiss ball.

    I found some great fat burning tips from the site http://fitness4u.sitesled.com .  There are tips form the top fitness trainers.  There are also some good downloadable free ebooks.  The truth about abs and your six pack quest are also good programs that friends of mine used.  They really give you what you need to lose the fat without losing muscle.
