Need fall wedding favor advice.?

Question

Any ideas on how one would go about making a caramel apple kit as a favor? I dont want to give the finished gooey apple. Also, any other ideas? I was thinking putting something in wooden berry baskets would be cute but i cant think of anything but a caramel apple kit (need to be big enough to fill the pint or 1/2 pint size)

find fake fall leaves, decorate the basket?

fill with candies, apples, caramel candies, cinnamon sticks, recipe for pumpkin pie or apple pie (cute with the apples), a cookie cutter of an apple or leave w/ a cookie recipe for umm.....gingersnaps or something, apple candy canes (the green ones...) make cookies in shapes of leaves and decorate them with the colors, maybe go on the internet and find a candle that reminds you of fall (apple, pumpkin, fall nights, etc) and put that in there, maybe a nice letter saying thank you and get a stamp and decorate it...

Put all the supplies for the caramel apple in the berry basket and wrap the entire thing in cellophane as if it were a regular basket. I think the wooden baskets are a cute packaging idea.

Where I live, we can get these yummy caramel apple flavoured suckers. Maybe tie three of those together, along maybe with a leaf-shaped cookie cutter... package of apple cider mix?

I think you have a winner there!

Assure you wrap the apples in something (tulle will be fine)

and wrapp the sticks in something, i'm a total germ nut and would much rather have everything wrapped.

what about mini jars of seasonal fruit jam? you could use material and ribbon to cover the lids of the jars in your wedding colors...and even put little tags on the jars with a little note or poem or something.
