We have nice but unsightly neighbors, a privay fence is up but we would also like to plant some fast growing tall plants or bushes that would grow beyond the 8 ft privacy fence in South Central Texas. Barely gets below freezing there in the dead of winter but can be hot and dry in the summer. any suggestions

thanks

  1. A great plant it the Oleander. Whites and pinks are awesome. They love the Sun and don't take  much water to make them happy. Look them up! I have several and they are about 8 to 9 feet high and wide because I just let them grow. The leaves are poison I understand, but I don't eat them anyway!! Good luck!!

  2. leyland cypress...http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu5g5wLFIUA...

  3. Oleanders are good, Bamboo is an option, Hawaiian hibiscus are gorgeous and not poisonous. Cape Honeysuckle, wax myrtle, crape myrtle, japanese maple. There's hundreds of options.  Have a look at our website we are a wholesale grower in Corpus and supply many nurseries in that general area. http://osogrowers.com. If I knew exactly where you were I could probably suggest a nursery in your area.
