Need fun pubs, tavern, winery, and other nightlife advice in Paris? I am 32 and going next week. I like music, drinking socially, eating great food, meeting locals, soaking in the culture, feeling the city, and having tons of fun... partying is ok.

There are a lot of possibilities at Paris, I can list the ones where I usually get fun:

Shannon Pub, this is a good pub the music is great

Guinness- tavern, usually a live rock bar, you can find here lots fun too

La Peña, if you like to dance this is a Latin salsa music place that I recommend you to go.

My personal favortie hangout is Aux Trois Mailletz at 56, rue Galande (5th). Its more a piano bar type place.

Go to the Latin Quarter, get off at the Saint Michel Notre Dame metro station and walk back one block. The streets are pedestrian zones that are full of bistros and bars and lots and lots of people. Generally students hang around in this area. Enjoy!
