Need good frinds from Dubai......?

Question

I am a sri lankan girl flying for Dubai next week for one month. So the biggest problem for me has arrised…I need good frinds. Not only boys, would like to have good female friends too. Anybody knows what to do . Are there nice hanging out placers? Good coffee places ?

Plenty of good coffee places and lots of shopping malls to hang around (specially during the current summer months). One piece of advice: because you are going to be alone and new to Dubai don't trust anyone unless you get to know them very well.

there will be a lot of sri lankan people there for u to meet and im sure u will quickly find out the place where they frequent, there are a lot of maids and office workers there.   as a start why not try the local church that would be a good place to meet decent friends there is a t least one catholic church in dubai which is attended by philipinos sri lankans and indians. otherwise u will meet people as u go about yr daily business and they are always friendly and talk to their countrymen/women.   there is also i believe a sri lankan social club but i dont know any details or where it is.
