Need good ideas for a book, any suggestions?

I'm trying to write a book and I need some ideas for a good book that people would be interested in reading. Is there anything that anyone has ever wanted to be made into a book, but have yet to see it in a story? Anything at all, let me know. And if I decide to use your idea and you leave your actual name in the post, I'll be sure to use your name in my acknowledgments and possibly as a character in the book as well. I have already started a story, and I think that it might be too much the the Twilight series, and I'm not sure it will sell. I'll put the plot outline here and you can tell me if you think it sounds like a good book. If so, then I'll continue to write it. If not, I'm looking for a good story line that other people will like.

Plot

A Night Walker that a teenage girl discovers when she moves into a new house with her single mother. Night Walker can take on human form at night when the moon's out. Night Walker is an immortal that's half ghost half demon. She learns to trust him, and befriends him, slowly falling in love with each other.

I like stuff about other societies, so I would read this book if the main character was the night walker guy and the story talked about his life. Why does he need humans and stuff?

well, i don't know if this is what you wanted in the story, but i've always wanted to read a story about two people in love, but one of them has to move away or something.

like if in this story, jocelyn has to move again for some reason, and stephen doesn't know, and goes to find her or something like that. to me, i always thought that that would be a really good love story, like not giving up on the person you love the most.

Cool! Salem, MA is an awesome setting for a ghost story.

how long is it going to be until your book is written (published, etc)

if it over a few years/months the Twilight series will be blown over. There are other books that have that immortal/mortal love. Look at Buffy the Vamp. Slayer or something. No one will relate it to Twilight. Believe me.

I would like to read your story. The outline looks amazing. The only thing is I would call Jocelyn, Joce, or Jocie, or something to make the name more modern.

i would probably read this if it's actually as somewhat similar [but not really] as i think it sounds to the host by stephenie meyer
