  1. Congratulations! Here are a few paces where you can get dressed...

    the Oceanaire in downtown

    Pallisades on Queen Anne

    Crush in Madison Valley

    The W Hotel

  2. For your Sweet 16, aye?  Let's see...  a few semi-formal places that you can dress up and not feel overdressed and have a nice experience...

Palisade in Magnolia, just a little south of the golf course and right on the water is a beautiful restaurant right on the water!  The food is excellent and the atmosphere is really charming and would suit a Sweet 16, though you might feel that it's a little bit stuffy for this.

The Dahlia Lounge has really become a Seattle staple and would be an excellent place!  Located on 4th and Virginia in downtown Seattle, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is really chill and cool, and you'll feel fine to be dressed up here.  Not everyone will be as dressed up, but you won't feel out-of-place.

Salty's, right on Alki in West Seattle, would also be a really nice place, especially because you can head out and hang around Alki afterwards, if you like, or not!  The views here are as beautiful as at Palisade, though a different waterfront angle.  The food is excellent!

  3. A little advice, no such a critter as unexpensive and semi formal.

    Next,

if you host a party you pay.  If you can't afford to pay, have your party at home with burgers and hot dogs.
