  1. I may have something that would interest you. Though it's not insurance it does offer some huge discounts on your health care. It does have a monthly fee, but it is really low. Lower than any insurance policy, plans start at $14.95 per month.

  2. You can try Medicare, they will insure you because you are unemployed. You can also get insurance through an independent like Blue Cross, if you type in health insurance into goggle, it will give you lots of providers and compare their rates for you.

  3. OK, the kicker is, you want an insurance company to give you a policy for FREE.  That's not going to happen.

You can go to a local agent, and try to get a policy.  If you are in perfect health, at your age, a low deductible plan should cost you about $250 a month.  Or, a high deductible plan might be as little as $100 a month.    Or, you can get a full time job, with benefits, and do the school thing evenings and weekends.

  4. Well they cost money, so you can't buy one without money.

And, I've sent her e-mails because she's always so far off on the cost of health insurance.  You can get a ZERO deductible HMO for ~$120/month and a ZERO deductible PPO for ~$160/month.

You could get a $2500 deductible for around $80/month.  That's using Philidelphia suburb zip code.

Feel free to look at the costs of plans on my site.  It requires no personal information other than a date of birth.
