Question:

Need health insurance for people over 65 years, and not US citizens (residents only)?

There is so much information online that I am confused. I am helping people I know who are going to be living in the US next year, and they need a personal health insurance. They are over 65 years of age, and don't have Medicare, since they are not US citizens. They will be coming to live in the US legally, under an immigration family sponsor program. They have no pre-conditions, and are perfectly healthy.

  1. If they're immigrating they just need immigrant health insurance.  If they're just staying here a couple years and then returning to their home country they need travel medical insurance.

I have links to a few different companies on my site...

  2. If you can't find something that meets your requirements, check out a discount plan at http://www.affordabletotalhealthcare.com...  Good luck!

  3. Check out the Bridge Plan by Pertersen International (an underwriter for Lloyd's of London).  It is designed just for such an occasion.

  4. Like in your situation,I would like to advise you have a look here.http://health-insurance.expert-tip.info/...

  5. Good luck with that.  See, coming from another country, you won't be able to provide PROOF that there  aren't any preexisting conditions.

You're going to have to go to a local agent, or three, to see if they have any insurance companies that would be willing to write them.

It's not going to be cheap, though, either.
