Need help, with hiring a van, Spain to Uk?

I need to find a company that will hire me a van from alicante, spain and let me drop it off in the uk, i have looked on the net and cant find anyone? I would greatly appreciate help from anyone who can point me in the direction of a company that does this

AVIS  - I just looked and you can collect in Alicante and drop in a number of UK locations (was for cars though) but worth a phone call.

I really don't think you'll find a rental company that does this, main problem is the insurance situation.  There are loads of companies that do the Spain run back to the UK.  A Google search would bring results up.

Have tried to do this and its practically impossible.  I couldnt find any Spanish van rental company which allows its vans across to the UK.  If you do find anybody who offers a one way trip it will be very expensive as they cant rent a left hand drive van out in the UK.  I coudnt even find a company who would let me drive from Spain to UK and back although you can rent from the UK to drive to Spain and back to UK.  There are plenty of removals / trucking companies who do regular services to/from Spain-UK at competitive prices.
