ok so the perineter of the room is 44 and i have to find how much siding i need but the thing is the siding comes in inches and the room i am aking comes in feet. How do i know how many pieces of siding i need.

comes in 78" of siding each piece perimeter of the room is 44, this is for a project.

  1. How long is each wall?  How high are the walls?  How wide is the siding?  There is not enough information to answer your question.  Fill in these numbers and we will be able to help you.


  2. Make a diagram..measure the length of each wall.  include the doors & windows. Measure what the height of the wall will be.  Take the diagram or measurements to the home depot or store where you intend to purchase..they will figure it for you.

  3. 12 inches per foot.

    44 feet x 12 = 528 inches

    78 / 12 = 6-1/2 feet
