Need help. I am depressed?

Ok.... First off.... i am depressed and i don't have any health insurance at the moment. I have been depressed all week about one of my friends who is very mad at me and close to me. I have been writing down my thoughts in a journal and taking walks to keep my mind off of the problem but when i am in the other room with my family, i look somewhere and think and my mom keeps on asking me whats wrong. i cant even tell her how i feel since it really hurting me. It very hard for me to get my feelings out by the way. So do you have any suggestions for me to do to keep my mind off of those things and just enjoy life again?

  2. You sound like a normal teenager just going through some negative feelings at the moment.  Life is full of ups and downs so youll need to just be aware of that and keep a check of your thoughts as they arise.

    Talk with your friends, let your mother know that you are feeling down at the moment and what you have tried to do to overcome it.

  3. i think you need to talk to your friend and get things off your chest....have a heart to heart and  you'll feel better

  5. Put your big girl panties on, talk with your family and tell them whats going on. Depression is serious and their are programs that are free or low cost that will get you the meds you need and counseling. Check with the county that you live in, they usually have some sort of mental health system.  

  6. I know how you feel. some eople have off days, off weeks, and for me off months. Some months i feel depressed. I always light a few candles. take a long bath and do mauntra breathing... and if you dont know what mauntra breathing is its where you say some thing like "I am beautiful" and breath deep when you say it. Say it as many times as u want.. thats what i do and it always helps me........

    ps.. also i find shopping for purses very therapudic...dont shop for clothes because when your depressed you'll look in the mirror and say i look fat or something. so you'll make yourself feel worse.... so i find if you shop for purses or shoes you'll feel better also that way.

  7. why is your friend mad at you? talk to her, and if she still doesnt listen, try to get involved in something else to take your mind off of it until you get interested in something else.

  8. Something very similar happened to me.  I would say, talk to your friend about it.  The worst thing that could happen, is she can deny what you say, and be mean.  Most likely, if you talk to her nicely, she will stop being mad, and you will be happy!
