Go to your nearest big city!  So many people live right near a large city but never take the time to explore it.  For a thousand dollars you could get a great hotel suite and take a fun Limo tour of the city that you've lived so near to for so long.  When you book your hotel, tell them its for your honey moon, the hotel may offer you a free upgrade at check in if they have one available.
