  1. Glad you asked that. I'm 18 and wear size 13 boots. I used to have to point my foot down and slide my toes in between the peg and the shifter everyt time I wanted to shift up. It was a hassel and really annoying, so what I did was raised my shifter up a few notches. It looks kind of funny but it works just fine.

  2. The first two answerers have already given you great advice so adjust the shift lever.  To wear the boots in just put them on and wear them around the house (don't let your mum catch you though as I usually get annoyed when my son does this).  Just wear them as much as possible to soften them up a bit.

  3. If these are new boots, work them in by moving your feet up and down just to get them loose. It will take a little time.

  4. i have the same problem

    i ride a cr125 2 stroke

i lifted my shift lever to where my foot wouldnt get stuck,

and i wouldnt have to kick my knee up to my handlebars

    just lift your shift lever

  5. first off the boots need to break in... also an adjustment of the shift lever is probably in order... while you have the wrench in hand check the rear brake lever...
