Need help Identifying a spider

Question

It was a brown spider. I'm pretty sure it was not a brown recluse. It was on our deck in a corner and another in a crack of the steps. It had a funnel web and was bigger than a quarter but small than a silver dollar. I live in Georgia near Atlanta.

It might be a species of grass spider, they belong to the family of funnel web weaving spiders. does this look like it?

Long skinny legs?  Daddy long legs - harmless.

Short hairy legs?  Wolf spider - harmless.
