Need help - Itchy pubes after shaving?

I decided to shave my pubes 3 days ago, and after shaving it was really itchy, and the remaining short hairs sting in my p***s and balls, it really hurts.

It hurts a lot when I walk or just move my legs a bit. What can I do? I can't go to school like this =/

  1. rub deoderant on it.  it stops the itching and ingrown hairs.  trust me it works

  2. lotion

  3. Perhaps you've learned a lesson: don't do it again. But seriously, I've shaved my pubes -- ONCE. That was enough for me, thanks. As if the bleeding nicks weren't enough, I then had to deal with a week or so of redness and itchiness. It sounds like you have some ingrown hairs, which is common when you shave hairs that aren't used to being shaved. As for what you can do: some unscented talcum powder or baby powder or even, in a pinch, cornstarch (seriously, it works) will soothe the area and keep the itching down. It kind of lubricates things so the hairless skin is not rubbing against itself. Best not to put any lotion or anything on, it will just make it sting more. Powder. And rest assured, as much as it might hurt today, the itching should be gone in a couple weeks or so, when the hair starts to grow back.

  4. It's probably just irritation. There might be some mild creams you can apply to lessen the irritation down there. It's also probably just the reaction to having the hairs cut/shaved and it should stop in a few days.

  5. in all honesty the best way would be to shave the lot an then use either baby oil or a good moisturiser.

    Good Luck

  6. This happens to me too man. You gotta wax and wax every 3 days.
