Need help! Pictures erased!?

Question

I erased my picture from my cameras memory card and downloaded them on my computer. Is there any way to put them back on my memory card to get them developed?

wait, you erased pictures from your memory card and then downloaded them on the computer?  because then you can't get them back.

but if you deleted the pictures on your computer then you can go to the trash can on your desktop and get them back.

Wait...let me get this straight.  You've already downloaded your pictures from your memory card, onto your computer.  They're safely in your computer now.

Then you 'erased' (or formatted [which is better to do]) your memory card AFTER you've downloaded the images to your computer, right?

Why don't you just burn/copy the pictures onto a disc from your computer, then you can take the disc and have the images printed; and you have the images also saved on a disc.

You should also try sending/emailing them to the place where you are going to have them printed.  Wal-Mart, Walgreens, Costco, Sam's all do it.  And I'm sure others do too.  Saves gas having to go twice.  I've done it with the 4 I've mentioned and it's a fabulous service.

Just type in the stores name and add ' .com ' to it.  Then it should say 'photo center' somewhere on their homepage.   Try it.  It's easy.

Locate where you downloaded the pictures onto your computer, and go to "My Computer". In "My Computer", find the drive (D:, E:, etc.) for your memory card. Once you've found it, open the folder, and drag the pictures from your computer into the memory card's folder. Once that is done, you can eject your memory card and drop it off wherever you want your pictures developed.

If you deleted the pictures on your computer too check your "Recycle Bin" to see if the pictures are there. If they are not, download a file recovery program to un-delete them. You can even try running this program to see if you can un-delete the files from your memory card (just select your memory card's drive as the one that needs to be scanned).

Sorry to say, but no, once you've put them on your computer, and deleted them, you can't put them back on the SD card, but there is an easy solution to this problem, purchase a writable CD, and then save them on the c.d. And put the c.d in the machine, and print away. ( most photo printing machines has multi-media slots for c.ds, floppy disks etc.  Don't worry you aren't that screwed :P
