Ok i Just found out 1 hour ago that theres going to be a provincial cross country skiing race on saturday and sunday about .5 km from my house it was going to be about 300km away in truro the other day but snow melted there and my place is the only place with snow. i wasn't going to go becasue i had no way there but now that its here i am going to be in it and also i have only been skiing for this winter and my coach wants me to do the classic and free race im pretty good at classic but horrible at free. any tips on speed or endurnace or balance would be a big help thanks in advance.

and also please no trash talk thanks.

  1. First off try and have fun with the faces. I would recommend trying to utilize your poles. They can do so much for you if you know how to use them so ask your coach about that. And lastly you get a terrific night sleep and you should eat some carbs before hand.

  3. Keep the knees bent and relax... I play hockey and before a big game it helps to take a nap...The pros in the NHL do this before night games
